Flat roof repair options
There are two options for repairing a flat roof:

2. Restore the roof without dismantling the flat roof

Sequence of repair of a flat soft roof
- Clear the surface of the soft roof from dirt, debris, swelling, dangling pieces of waterproofing.
- Apply a polymer primer of a liquid consistency.
- The primer partially dissolves the top layer of bitumen. A continuous surface consisting of a bitumen base and an adhesive polyurethane surface is created.
- The polymerization of the primer occurs 3 to 5 hours.
- Apply a one-component polyurethane mastic to the bitumen-polyurethane membrane that formed.
- Without waiting for the polymerization, lay the reinforcement layer over the mastic, which consists of a thin non-woven fabric. Its density is usually 20 - 60 g / m. sq. m. The laid layer is drowned in polyurethane mastic.
- Apply a second layer of polyurethane mastic over the reinforcing fabric.
- Wait for the polymerization of the reinforced polyurethane mastic layer.
- On top of the membrane, apply a special polyurethane coating, which is high-strength and protects the roof.
Flat roof technology
There are several technologies for flat roofing:
1. Soft roofing
Soft roof is a roof, which is made of bitumen roll materials. Its advantages are reliability, economy, and also the duration of operation.
2. PVC membranes
PVC-membrane is a modern roofing material, which consists of two layers of PVC. Reinforced polyester mesh. Its advantages:
- duration of operation;
- fire safety;
- low weight;
- installation is made without fire;
- rolls of large size, which reduces the number of seams.
3. Inverse roofing
Inversion roof is called inverted roof. This is a warm roof, in which the thermal insulation layer is located on top of the waterproofing. The main function of this roof is the influx of heat insulation plates that are on the surface of the roofing.
4. Breathable roofing
A breathing roof was invented in order to counteract the formation of swellings.
5. Operated roofing
The name speaks for itself - it's a roof that can be used for any purpose. Usually it is a large open area. On it you can make parking for cars, a garden, etc.
6. Green roofing
The green roof is the roof on which the lawn is planted. It is also possible to plant bushes and even trees. The undisputed advantage of such a roof can be considered an increase in green spaces in the city.
