A good bathing suit should not only be fashionable and properly sized, but also emphasize the dignity of your figure and last for several seasons. There are some simple secrets, how to choose the right swimsuit, with which we will become acquainted in this article.
Choose a swimsuit by the type of figure
Like underwear, it's not so easy to choose the right swimsuit. Many believe that a slightly smaller size can visually tighten the figure, especially in the case of solid models. But this opinion is fundamentally wrong, since too tight things will just give out all the flaws in the figure. So, choose a swimsuit according to the type of figure :
- a slightly plump figure will look better in a bathing suit in a muted color, without shine (it is important to observe the measure and give preference to mid-size cuts in the thigh area, cups on the bones);
- choosing the right swimsuit for a large bust is even more difficult, since you have to choose between reliable support and a seductive neckline (look for models with wide straps, the V-neck works fine, and narrow straps and pitted cups should be avoided);
- make the waist narrower visually help model with lateral dark inserts, work fine vertical folds in the abdomen;
- it's equally difficult to choose the right swimsuit for the taller ones, since here it is usually necessary to "make" a figure (the wide straps, the lower part in the form of shorts, colorful stripes and shiny fabrics will help shape the figure, but dark colors and vertical bands should be avoided).
How to choose a quality swimsuit?
Even if the swimsuit is chosen correctly by the figure, it will last long only if quality fabric and accessories are provided. To choose a good swimsuit, as detailed as possible, review the information on the label. Polyester is usually manufactured the cheapest models: the color of such a product will save a couple of seasons, but will dry for a long time.
A more expensive category is polyamide products. They will dry much faster, even though the texture of the fabric is a bit denser. The fabric will beautifully shine, but under the sun it will burn out pretty quickly. Spandex or elastane takes its shape after stretching, provided its content in the tissue is not less than 10%.
The most suitable option for a bathing suit is a lycra paired with elastane. Look for products with a Lycra content of approximately 30%. As for cotton, it is the most hygienic. Nevertheless, it will dry very long, shine a little after bathing, and the figure will not be tempting.
