How to lay laminate?
To lay the laminate you will need a set of tools and materials:
- laminate panels;
- plinth and thresholds;
- polyethylene film for vapor barrier;
- substrate;

- sealant for laminate;

- restrictive wedges.

- It is better to lay a laminate with a gap of 5 mm. from the walls, as a rule, plastic wedges are placed along the perimeter for this purpose.
- You need to know how to start making a laminate. The first panel is laid with a groove to the wall. The direction of laying is selected in parallel with the falling sunlight, so that joints are less obvious.
- The last panel should be cut off, leaving a gap near the wall under the wedge. To do this, put it next to the extreme panel of the first row and use a square to define a cutting line.
- If necessary, the laminate is cut using a jig saw.
- The second row begins with the trimmed panel, since they are stacked in staggered order.
- The panel of the second row is located at an angle to the previous one, is inserted into the lock and snaps into place.
- Then the remaining panels are joined and selected. If necessary, the level and shock strips are used. In the last row you need to cut the laminate along. To do this, align the board with the previous row and cut it off. When cutting small parts for pipes they are additionally glued with a sealant.
- After laying the laminate, plinths and sills are fixed.
- Stacking is complete.
