Iodine for plants in the garden

Which plants love iodine?

How to prepare a solution of iodine for spraying plants?

For each individual case, there are recipes for the preparation of a solution for processing.

For the cultivation of vegetable seedlings

In this case, take 3 liters of rain water and add only 1 drop of iodine to it. We mix and once water the whole grown vegetable seedlings.

After transplanting young plants on the bed, it is recommended to conduct another watering with iodine solution (3 drops per 10 liters of water).

In the treatment of late blight

Pour in one container of 1 liter of whey and 10 liters of water. Then add 40 drops of iodine and 1 tbsp. peroxides. We treat infected plants in the evening 2-3 times every 10-12 days.

For the treatment of downy mildew in cucumber

Mix in a bucket 9 liters of water, 1 liter of skim milk and 10 drops of iodine. The resulting solution is sprayed with cucumber strings so that the leaves and soil beneath them become wet.

For cabbage

Dilute 40 drops of iodine in a bucket of water and mix. This solution should be watered at the beginning of the formation of heads, pouring out for each plant 1 liter.

For spring processing strawberries and strawberries
