How to properly heat the earth in the oven?

So, at what temperature and how much to ignite the earth in the oven: the optimal temperature is 70-90ºС, the time is about half an hour. After that, the soil needs to be given time to resume the normal balance of useful microflora and only then use for planting.
It is important to know how to roast the earth in the oven for seedlings: for this, it must first be sifted, slightly moistened, then poured onto a metal sheet with a layer of about 5 cm and immersed in a preheated oven.
Soaking the soil is a slightly modified version of calcination. In this case, the soil is placed in a sleeve for baking and then is sent to the oven. At the same time, moisture is retained in the soil and additionally there is a steaming effect with boiling water, since the moisture in the soil warms up to 90-100 ° C and, acting on it, further cleans and disinfects.

Disinfection of the soil is almost the key to growing seedlings. From the proper disinfection of the soil, the health of the future seedlings and adult plants depends directly. Correctly carried out calcination kills pathogenic bacteria, dangerous nematodes, eggs and pupae of insects, spores of fungi.
