Installation of PVC ceiling panels

Their plastic today produces a wide variety of products, from furniture to finishing materials. But the most successful invention is PVC panels. They are convenient to beat the ceilings, and their quality corresponds to the parameters of the finishing coatings. They:

• easily cut;
• "Absorb" the noise;
• reduce the process of heat transfer;
• can be installed in rooms without heating;
• give the room a modern look.

With them it's very easy to work, so many perform the installation of the ceiling from PVC panels with their own hands. Thus, people manage to save on the services of masters, which in our time are quite expensive.

Installation of wall panels on the ceiling

Consider the process of attaching panels to the example of a bathroom. The work will be performed in several stages:

1. Wall preparation . First you need to plaster the space above the tile (in our case, the tile is laid 10 cm from the ceiling). To do this, use gypsum plaster for smooth ceiling surfaces. To protect the tile, use a paint tape.
2. Fastening of guide profiles . They will serve as the basis for starting profiles. In the case of the bathroom, use high-quality galvanized dowel-nails. They can withstand the effects of humidity.
3. Prepare the base for the panels . Mount the directing suspension guides in 60 cm increments. Attach the starting profiles to them. In our case, there are 4 profiles on the wall. If the room is large, it can turn out and more.
4. Preparing the panels . They need to be adjusted to the size of the room. To do this, cut off excess jigsaw, small hacksaw or Bulgarian. Rough edges with abrasive mesh / sandpaper.
5. Mounting . Take the narrow ends of the panel into the start profile. Then attach it to the guide screws with the press cup. To be safe, you can first drill a hole in the profile, and then put a screw into it. Do all the other panels according to this principle.
6. To mount the last panel you will have to cut it in length and insert it first into the penultimate panel, and then into the start profile.

If you want to insert point lights, you can use the appropriate crowns and drills.

It should be noted that MDF panels are installed on the ceiling using the same technology. The only difference is that here, in the process of work, a kleimer is used (a fastening element, which allows fixing the distillation).
