A wooden lamp can be not only part of the stylish design of the room, but it can completely transform the interior of the room. Such a chandelier can emphasize elegant elegance or make a rough tint under the old days, create an atmosphere of Japanese austerity or even the distant Middle Ages. And if you make a ceiling lamp of wood with your own hands, it will be filled with positive energy and warmth of the hands of its creator.
How to make a lamp from a tree with your own hands?
Consider how you can make a ceiling lamp from a tree in the form of a wheel from a cart. For work we will need:
- wide board, plywood;
- pencil, ruler, protractor;
- a circular saw;
- self-tapping screws, nails;
- glue;
- electric jigsaw;
- stain and lacquer;
- a strip of tin;
- metal staples and chain;
- electric wires and lamps with cartridges.
- On the board draw a circle that has the diameter of the future chandelier. In it, draw an octahedron. On the basis of these faces, draw the details of the chandelier and cut them out.
- We glue the structure and connect it with screws.
- On the outer diameter of the wheel with a jigsaw we cut an ideally smooth circle.
- We clean the surface of the workpiece.
- From the plywood we make a decorative circle of smaller diameter and attach it to the wheel with screws.
- Cut out the small central circle.
- From a tree we cut out 8 spokes and attach them with glue and screws to the rim and a mug in the center.
- We close the spokes in the center with one more circle.
- We paint the chandelier with stained glass and varnish.
- From the tin we cut the rim, the width of which is equal to the thickness of the wheel. We nail it with nails.
- We do the wiring of the fixture, attach the cartridges.
- We fix the chandelier to the ceiling with a chain and metal staples.
- We connect the chandelier and screw the lamps. Our ceiling light is made of wood.
