Now among the stars of Hollywood it became fashionable not only to engage in their immediate profession, but also to share their knowledge and skills with ordinary people. Most recently it became known that Angelina Jolie was invited to the London School of Economics as a professor at the Center for Women's Affairs, and today her colleague Matthew McConaughey joined her. True, he will not teach in the UK, but in the US, but the essence of the matter does not change.
Matthew returns to his university
About a quarter of a century ago, the student McConaughey did not think that he would teach, and even in his own university. However, when the 46-year-old actor received an offer from the University of Texas to return to Austin in order to read the lecture course on film production, he almost immediately agreed. The company to the famous actor will be no less famous director Gary Ross, who is known to many for the films "Hunger Games". By the way, this is not the first time that men will cooperate together. Not long ago they finished work on the tape "Free State of Jones", which in September will appear on the screens. In this picture, each of them fulfilled his tasks: McConaughey played the main character in the historical drama, Ross was the screenwriter, director and co-producer.
According to insider information, this choice of teachers was made for a reason. The university leadership has already looked at the picture "Free State of Jones" and believes that this is the best example of how to work in a movie. It is on the example of this tape that most of the lectures will be built.

The number of students is limited
After the University of Texas learned that Matthew McConaughey and Gary Ross will conduct a course of lectures, an unprecedented stir was created among the students. However, the leadership of the university decided that a group of 30 people would be enough. How they will choose the lucky ones is not yet known, but Matthew has already spoken about this:
"I am honored to be a teacher at the University of Texas, my home university. I will gladly give lectures to everyone who wants it, and I will do it if the management of the educational institution takes this decision. "
