The fauna of the park is very diverse. It is inhabited by predators - jaguars and mountain lions - as well as wild pigs, agouti, white-tailed deer, armadillo, several species of monkeys, squirrels. In the rivers there are river otters. The park is also home to more than 150 species of birds, including toucans, mockingbirds, a variety of parrots. Here you can find species that are rare enough for Honduras and Central America in general. Birds that live on the tops of trees can be seen from the funicular - they are laid here for eight lines. Climb to the top
