Sandals - this is perhaps the most ancient kind of shoes. They were common among the ancient inhabitants of Babylon, Greece, the Roman Empire, India, Egypt. Then they were made from those materials that were distributed in the area, for example, papyrus, wood, felt, fabric or straw. Each people had their own culture of making them. The most common were always leather sandals.
A real coup, summer sandals survived in the twenties of the last century. Remaining for a long time in the shade of high fashion, it was then that they were first decorated in every way, equipped with a heel and began to be used not only as comfortable, but also as fashionable shoes.
