Among the most attractive places are:

  1. Korallgrottan. In translation from Swedish, its name means "coral cave". This is due to the fact that inside it were found coral formations of limestone. It is located Corallgrottan in the northern part of the province of Jämtland. They opened it in 1985, and to date, 6 km inland have been investigated. This is the deepest cave in the territory of Sweden. Between Koralgrottan and another time - Cliftgrottan - there is a water channel. Speleologists continue to study this area.
  2. Lummelundagrottan (Lummelundagrottan, cave Lummelunda). This cave is located on the island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea, 13 km north of the city ​​of Visby . The name of the cave is from Mount Hoverberget, located on the Storsion peninsula, surrounded by lakes . From the mountain opens a beautiful panorama to the surroundings and the Norwegian border is visible. At the top there is a cafe, descending the path from which, you will get to Hoverberggrottan. It refers to neotectonic caves, which resulted from the movement of rocks and the formation of cracks in the rock. Therefore, the Hoverberggrottan is narrow, high and has a triangular shape. It is very cold in here. The length of the cave is 170 m, but only half of it is spacious passages for tourists. Hoverberggrottan is open to visitors from June to August, the cost of tickets from $ 3.5.
  4. Sala Silvermin (Sala Silvermine, Sala Silvergruva). This cave is located in the county of Westmandland and is characterized by great depth and unique beauty. She is very familiar to lovers of romance and is in demand among those who want to bind themselves by marriage by arranging a wedding ceremony in an unusual place. At a depth of 115 m below the ground is a hall for celebrations.
