A unique country, located in the cramped area between France and Spain, is attractive to tourists thanks to the Andes and the Andean Cordilleras - the longest mountain chain on the planet. But besides sports entertainment there is something to see . Holidays in Andorra is a great many - this is purely national days, and international, church and just invented for entertainment tourists. Christmas

Perhaps, the most honored and magnificent of all the holidays in Andorra, is the birth of the baby Jesus. Feast of John the Baptist

Once a pagan holiday, with which the church unsuccessfully fought for centuries, gained the upper hand. And now the Andorrans celebrate it, visiting church prayer services and lighting fire in lamps, in houses, building bonfires and launching fireworks, for fire is protection from evil spirits.

St. George's Day

This holiday is somewhat reminiscent of Valentine's Day, as it is also celebrated in love with couples. On this day, the shops are strewn with roses of various shades, as the symbol of this festival is a rose. This holiday is celebrated on April 23.

Constitution day

Not so long ago, on March 14, 1993, the main document of the country was adopted. And now this day, which is a day off, residents of the country with fireworks and salutes celebrate this event.

Day of Three Kings

Or the familiar Epiphany - a church holiday, celebrated by both Christians and Catholics. In all the temples and cathedrals, solemn liturgies are held, and in the evening you can see the costumed action taking place on the central streets of the city.

Since Andorra is a zone of duty-free trade, it's very profitable to go shopping here. It is recommended that you do this after the New Year holidays on a big sale day. It lasts until February and the closer to the end, the lower the prices for all kinds of goods.
