The scandal surrounding the national beauty contest in Puerto Rico continues to gain momentum. A week ago, the winner of the Miss Universe of Puerto Rico 2016 competition was taken away from the title, and now Kristkhili Caride was in a psychiatric hospital.

24-year-old Karide was punished by the organizers of the competition for not wanting to communicate with journalists, which by law is the duty of the country's first beauty. The girl was taken away the crown and handed over to Brenda Jimenez, who took the second place.
The story began with the fact that the owner of the prestigious title, giving interviews, very arrogant and rude about her dislike for the cameras. Realizing his mistake, Kristkhili apologized, reporting the "unsuccessful day," assuring that she had realized the error.
