Preparing the child's muscles for crawling

Often in the playgrounds you can hear how young moms vied with each other about the achievements of their kids. Some are proud of the fact that the kid, who only recently learned to sit, immediately began to take the first steps, and then, having mastered walking, he already crawled. However, there is no special reason for joy here. The child for the first year of his life must gradually master the four main skills:

Nature has ensured that each stage fulfills the role of preparation for the next stage. So, skipping crawling, a child in the future may suffer from problems with the spine, joints, because his muscles were not ready for walking.

Exercise muscles

Obviously, the preparation of muscles for crawling is mostly a mother's task. But there is nothing complicated here. Simple, stimulating crawling exercises the child perceives as a fun game. Starting any exercises for crawling without preliminary preparation is impossible, because the baby can pull muscles. In fact, gymnastics for crawling begins with the first day of the baby's life, only it is called a massage. From the first month you can start more active pursuits. It is best to train your child's muscles in the morning when he is in a good mood. After easy stroking, alternately, reduce the arms and legs of the baby, make the legs "bicycle" in the air, several times lift the child by the hands from the prone position. When the baby's muscles get stronger, you can show the child the basic principles of crawling on a personal example, because children like to copy the behavior of adults. To increase the motivation next to the baby or in front of him, you can put a toy.

During classes, do not forget about the safety of your young athlete. Within its reach, there should not be a single dangerous object
