Al Pacino pursue failure

On the eve of the premiere of the next episode of "Star Wars" Al Pacino for the first time admitted that he regrets the lost opportunity to appear in the legendary saga. In his time (namely in 1977) Al Pacino was considered as the main contender for the role of hooligan-smuggler Khan Solo, who appears already in four episodes of "Star Wars". Being already the rising star of Hollywood and having several nominations for Oscar in the record, Al Pacino rejected the offer. The script of the film seemed complicated and confusing to him: "I did not understand anything at all," the actor admitted. The resounding success of the saga probably changed Al Pacino's view of her prospects.

Who else bites his elbows from frustration

Al Pacino is not the only actor to take on a role in the George Lucas film as a dubious venture. From the role of Han Solo, Jack Nicholson and Bob Murray also refused. As a result, it was performed by young Harrison Ford, who thereby paved his way to a successful acting career. Now Ford will again appear in the continuation of the "Star Wars".

Memory brings

By the way, Al Pacino is not going through the best times now. His latest theatrical work "The Chinese Doll" failed through the actor's fault. The fact is that it involved only two characters, and, accordingly, one of them, i.e. Al Pacino had to memorize dozens of pages of text by heart. On the stage, the memory was summed up by a 75-year-old actor: he began to lose his way, which led to the indignation of the public. The audience began to leave the place, not having watched to the end, and some people started talking about returning money for tickets.

It is interesting that the plot of the ill-fated play tells of a middle-aged man, to whom an evil fate prevents him from marrying a young girlfriend, which he passionately desires. History recalls the life of Al Pacino, whom the lover recently left. Lucia Sola, a 36-year-old Argentinean actress, left him after four years of marriage.
