All this time he was interrupted by short-term projects, was shot in advertising, Indian melodramas and agreed on the role of the second plan, while listening to caustic remarks from the more successful colleagues of the actors. Unspeakable fate? The reason for this life was long-term treatment. For seven years, Fraser tried to recover from exhausting filming in his youth and participation in stunt tricks. As a result, he suffered several difficult operations on the spine and legs. The actor himself remembers this time emotionally:
"I was too eager to succeed, I agreed to insane stunt tricks, I kept myself constantly toned for frank scenes. Maintaining an ideal musculature, was my paranoid idea. Sooner or later my body would tell me - stop. During the filming of the third "Mummy" I was already sitting on strong painkillers, next to me there was a sports teip and ice. Having finished the shooting in China, I immediately lay down on the operating table and I was given a laminectomy, a year later the operation was repeated. For seven years I was a regular client of clinics. "
Note that the operation, which Fraser says, is considered quite serious and involves the removal of a small area of the vertebra and a long recovery period. Unfortunately, but the actor was forced to postpone several surgical interventions on his back. In addition, surgery on the knee joint and even on the vocal cords was required. Knowing this, it's no wonder that Fraser disappeared from view.
