Famous photographer Chance Faulkner recently conducted a terrific interview and photo shoot with Kate Anderson, father and lover of tattoos.
You ask, what did this dad do so surprisingly, that they decided to interview him !? He came up with and prepared a real project with his son, who has been involved for many. And this is a doodle tattoo.
Anderson takes his son's drawings and skillfully transforms them into unusual tattoos.
As Anderson himself says:
"I had 3 artists on tattoos for the last few years. More recently, my son himself has filled me with a tattoo of his own drawing. And he really liked it! "
The idea to create a similar project came to Anderson's mind when his son was only 4 years old.
Since then, every year Anderson added one tattoo to his right hand.
Anderson says that he will continue until the moment when his son is bored. And, according to his father, he really likes it.
The boy's most favorite tattoo is the abstract stained-glass window, which was made by a toddler at the age of 8.
Kate admits that none of his surroundings even thought about it. Nobody suspected that you can use children's drawings to sketch tattoos, and it will look, at least, great.
Many ask Anderson what will happen if he does not have free space on his body for new tattoos. The answer is simple: "I'll just ask my son to draw smaller drawings."
To admit, this father is an example for imitation. This does not mean that everyone should go and do tattoos on the body, as he did.
