Bright crocuses appear in the spring as one of the first flowering plants. If you want to create a spring mood, we suggest making crocuses from corrugated paper. For the production of crocus flowers, you can choose corrugated paper of many colors, because in nature these primroses differ in the variety of colors.
Master-class: crocuses made of paper
You will need:
- corrugated paper of green color (for stems and leaves), yellow (for stamens) and several other colors;
- Sticks or skewers for canapés (for stems);
- PVA glue;
- scissors;
- thin wire;
- small vessel for a bouquet.
How to make crocuses made of paper?
- Cut rectangles from corrugated paper of any color 8x4 cm. We place the paper so that the longitudinal relief passes along the short side. Fold each rectangle in the "accordion" and cut out 6 symmetrical petals. Slightly curl edge of each of the petals on a thin stick (for example, a toothpick).
- Cut out small rectangles of yellow, cut them into fringes, not reaching the edge about a quarter of the size.
- Fold the part into a tube, tighten each narrow strip of fringe - this will be flower stamens, dipping them in glue.
- We wind the stamens-core of the flower with petals, applying them gradually and fixing each subsequent petal with glue.
- We insert the skew, fixing the petals on the stick with a piece of wire.
- We wind the stem with a ribbon cut from green corrugated paper.
- Cut out the pointed details for the leaves. To give the leaves volume, slightly wrap the edges around the perimeter.
- Applying the leaves on each other, we paste 3-5 leaves on each stem.
- For a flower composition we make several such colors. We fix the flowers of crocus in the vessel. The flower arrangement of bright primroses is ready!
