Lilies from plastic bottles

Plastic bottles are an excellent material for creativity for many reasons: they are easy to mold, have many colors, shapes and sizes, and certainly will be found in huge numbers in almost any modern home. Make of them you can do whatever the soul desires: children's toys, bird feeders, garden sculptures and even flowers! For our master class for the manufacture of hand-made articles from plastic bottles, we chose a lily - a beautiful garden flower. Believe me, there is nothing complicated in how to make a lily from a plastic bottle with a plastic bottle, and the result will pleasantly surprise.

For a lily of plastic bottles we will need:

• patience;
• good mood;
• paper;
• ruler;
• wire;
• scissors;
• multi-colored plastic bottles;
• marker;
• candle.

Manufacture:

1. Prepare the templates, by which we will cut the petals. To do this, draw equilateral triangles on paper. The number of triangles depends on how many rows of petals the lily will have. In our case, you need three templates with sides from 14 to 10 cm, on which you need to draw petals.
2. We cut out our bottles: from the brown cut out the petals on the patterns, and from the green - the leaves. Cut the edges of the petals with fringe.
3. The function of the stem will be performed by wire, on which we will thread our petals. The edge of the wire is bent or put on the bead so that the flower is securely fixed.
4. We heat the blanks on the candle and give them a curved shape. In the center of the blanks for the petals we make a hole in which we will pass the wire.
5. For the stamens, we make paired holes on each petal, and the stamens themselves are made from thin wire.
6. We pass the stamens through the holes in the petals.
7. We begin assembling the lilies from petals of the smallest size.
8. To fix the bud, we use sepals made of green plastic.
9. We wind the wire-stalk with a narrow strip of green plastic, putting on leaves at intervals.
10. The edges of the petals can be painted with a marker or nail polish of a contrasting color, and on the tips of the stamens wear small beads.
11. As a result, we get such beautiful bouquets of lilies.

If you do not want to stop, other colors can be made from plastic bottles: tulips , chamomiles , bells and others.
