Finland participates in the Schengen agreement. This means that to cross its borders it is necessary to make certain permits in it. As well as in all other countries of this zone, you can apply for a visa to Finland independently or through travel companies that have accreditation at the Consulate General.
Required documents

Only after that, in accordance with the queue, they can be handed over. Even if the visa is opened by the intermediaries, the personal submission of documents is a prerequisite for obtaining the Finnish Schengen. They can still be filed by the closest relatives. It should be borne in mind that the time for issuing a visa can be up to 10 days, so you need to think carefully about the time of filing documents so as not to disrupt your departure.
A visa to Finland, issued independently, will cost 35 euros, and an urgent, processing time of which will be 3 days, - 70 euros. When submitting documents to the embassy located in Moscow, it will be necessary to pay another 21 euros for services.
Consular fee does not pay:
- children with a passport under the age of 6;
- Persons studying in Finland and teachers who cross the border with them;
- relatives of EU citizens or people living there legally.
Of course, the design of a Schengen visa always accompanies a lot of hassle and issues. But, if this issue is thoroughly studied and all the documents are prepared correctly, then it will not be very difficult.
