The peculiar sourness inherent in berries, especially advantageously manifests itself in cherry liqueurs, making the drink less luscious than similar analogues from other berries.

Drink can be prepared on the basis of vodka or other alcohol with a similar strength. But if you want, you can use only water and sugar, thus reducing the strength of the liquor.

We put the berry mass in a glass bottle, adding the juice that was extracted during the extraction of pits. From above we throw the buds of a carnation, a stick of cinnamon and nutmeg, split it in half, and also pour in vanillin. We fall asleep in a bottle on top of sugar, we band up the neck with a tissue cut and define it in a warm, sunny place for ten days. After a lapse of time we pour in vodka, shake the contents, again tie the neck with a cloth and put it on for five weeks.

Now we filter the ready-made drink, filter it, then bottles it and remove it to a darkened place.

A quick cherry liqueur at home without vodka?

This recipe for the preparation of liquor involves the use of ordinary water instead of vodka. Thanks to this, the drink is produced with a lower percentage of alcohol content and rather resembles a traditional filling.

Preparing the preparation of the drink, we remove the bones from the washed berries. We put berry mass in a three-liter jar, pouring each layer of sugar. Now add water, pull on the neck of a can of rubber glove with a punctured one finger or install a septum.
