Anomalies of the development of the uterus are found in one or two women out of a hundred and play a decisive role in the question of whether a woman can conceive. In some cases, pregnancy can take place with complications, like birth.

Usually it accompanies infantilism - the general inadequate development of the whole organism, but can also be observed without its manifestations. With this abnormality of the uterus, its reduced size is noted, and the cervix is ​​longer or in accordance with the uterine size.
2. Anomalies in the structure of the uterus and anomalies of the contractile activity of the uterus. They are formed during the embryonic period.

Anomalies of the cervix, vagina and uterus

1. Double-horned uterus - due to its name form. Does not affect the ability to become pregnant, just the child will have less space to grow, and perhaps a pelvic presentation of the fetus.
2. The saddle-shaped (arch-shaped) uterus is a partial manifestation of the two-horned, insignificant: the two-folded form is only in the region of the bottom in which a depression is formed. In some cases, the outer surface of the uterus does not even differ from normal.
3. Uterus with septum - complete or incomplete muscular or fibrous wall. Sometimes it can interfere with pregnancy.
4. Full doubling of the uterus is a rare case in which there are 2 vaginas and 2 cervical uteri. The ability to conceive persists.
5. The unicorn uterus is half the size of the usual uterus , with only one phallopia tube . If this tube and the ovary is normal, pregnancy is possible.
6. Agenosis is an extremely rare pathology, accompanied by a complete absence of the uterus, or its small size and not fully developed, or a short vagina. With such an anomaly, conception is impossible, and sex will be problematic.

Anomalies of contractile activity of the uterus

Variants of violations of at least one of the indicators of contractile activity: tone, duration, intensity, interval, rhythmicity, frequency and coordination of contractions.

Today, researchers have not yet studied the causes of the anomaly of the development of the uterus. Perhaps in the future some difficulties will be succumbed to successful treatment.
