Baked Shadows

The woman's desire for beauty is inherent in nature, and cosmetic brands help her in this endeavor, creating extraordinary novelties that make makeup more perfect, and at the same time easier. Baked eye shadow can be considered one of the most significant cosmetic discoveries, because they embody the idea of harmony of color and mother-of-pearl.

Lovers of mother-of-pearl shadows have probably noticed more than once that in the package the shadows have a beautiful and rich color with a pearl ebb, and the skin is lost on the skin, becoming whitish, faded and uninteresting. Another disappointment led to the rejection of the mass-market class cosmetics and forced to appeal to brands that create professional decorative cosmetics, which have interesting color variations of shadows, including mother-of-pearl ones, which look on the skin roughly as brightly as in the package .

But still, the classic mother-of-pearl shadows remained a problem with the color saturation, and it was decided by a special manufacturing technique, which gave birth to the name "baked shadows".

What do you mean, "baked shadows"?

Baked shade is a special technology of combining color with mother of pearl. Shadows during manufacture are baked at high temperature (60 degrees) for 1 hour. The result is a uniform, even texture, very light and delicate, and at the same time quite dense (the baked shadows are very resistant to scattering). Thanks to her, mother-of-pearl and pigment are tightly connected, and in make-up, such shadows remain firm, without breaking into different groups, where the color was separated from mother of pearl.

Often manufacturers add to the composition of shadows various caring components - vitamin E or UV filters.

How to apply the baked shadows?

Before using the baked shadows, apply the base under the shadows for the durability of the makeup.

There are two options for applying shadows - dry and wet. The shadows are applied with a flat brush, inserting movements. The field of imposing the shadows of their edge must be shaded.

Dry method

The dry way of imposing shadows is classical. Take a dry brush, and the shadows are applied to the eyelids. This method is less resistant than wet.

Wet method

  1. Before applying the shadows in a damp way, prepare the spray gun with clean water.
  2. Dampen the brush with it so that it is slightly damp.
  3. Then, use the brush of the shadow and apply it to the eyelid.

The moist method allows you to create a brighter, more saturated and persistent make-up.

Makeup with baked shadows

Due to the fact that the baked shadows have a bright color and rich mother of pearl, they are usually used for evening make-up , or as an accent in the outer corner of the eye with daytime make-up.
