- Cartagena . This is the most famous direction of Colombia for fans to bask in the sun. - The islands of San Andres and Providencia. The beaches of these resorts are characterized by a wide coastline, fine white sand on the coast, quaint coral reefs protecting coastal areas from strong waves. In addition to beach recreation, you can do diving and snorkeling, as well as water sports.
- Buenaventura . Often we can see it on the photo of the beaches of Colombia, and there is an explanation for this. The resort is characterized by the presence of mangroves and lush tropical vegetation. Its beaches overlook the expanse of the Pacific Ocean. The sand here is darker and larger than on the Caribbean coast of Colombia, and the bottom is more rocky. This Pacific resort can be especially recommended to surfers, because in Buenaventura often blowing strong winds.
- Tayrona Park . Founded more than 50 years ago, the park is still one of the most peaceful places in the country. Tourists who prefer solitude, you can advise the beach El Cabo. The climate throughout the country is almost the same and does not depend on the location of the resort regions. All year round the country is hot weather, the average daytime air temperature is at a level of +30 ° C. Water in the Caribbean Sea during the summer season warms up to +28 ° C, during the winter months it cools down to +20 ° C.
If you compare the Caribbean and the Pacific coast, then the first is always a little warmer. The most favorable period for visiting the beach resorts of Colombia is the time from January to March. Precipitation in these months falls much less often, and the temperature of water and air is almost the same and keeps at around +27 ° C.
