Before and after, or why do animal shelters need a good photographer?

We all know that advertising is the best engine of trade, promotion of ideas and services. That's why, wanting to find buyers more likely, we paint the best qualities of our goods, create a portfolio and catalogs, and even being in search of the second half online, we "lure" it with our best photos ...

And the staff of the Animal Rescue Service in Florida found it unfair that only people can use the working methods of promotion, and decided on an unusual experiment. So, it turns out, with the advent of a new animal in the shelter, it was decided to take pictures of him at once and post photos on the site, in the hope that someone would find the loss, but someone would just like it and be taken away. But, as a rule, at such moments the animal was sick, frightened or even injured. In a word, those who wished to do a good deed were decreasing day by day, but ...

Last year, the employees of the Service invited professional photographer Volunteer Albert Harris for such purposes, and their indicators for finding a new home and loving owners for their pets broke the record of 48 years ago and continue to grow!

14. Full sadness of the eyes "before" and full of happiness "after".

15. This is a transformation!
