Harrison Ford on his plane almost crashed into a passenger liner

Harrison Ford almost did not cause a real plane crash. The single-engine Husky Aviat A-1C, at the helm of which was an actor, approached a critical distance to the Boeing 737, carrying more than a hundred passengers and six crew members.

Incident at the airport

A disastrous incident happened to 74-year-old Harrison Ford in California's Orange County on Monday at John Wayne Airport.

The actor pilot was landing and, confusing the stripes, began to sit on the wrong track, directly on top of the American Airlines liner. Luckily for Ford and the people in Boeing 737 following in Dalas, another plane had not yet started climbing and no collision had occurred. Literally in a few minutes without delay the passenger liner flew to its destination.

Ford himself noticed the aircraft, but did not immediately realize his mistake by shouting to the dispatcher on the radio:

"This plane should be under me?".

Flew

Investigators of the US Federal Aviation Administration have already begun an investigation of the state of emergency, which by a miracle did not end with a tragedy with numerous victims. It was already clear that the airspace dispatchers correctly instructed Ford. The actor misunderstood their injunction and unintentionally violated safety rules.

The inattention of a celebrity, in the hangar of which there are 11 light-engine aircraft, may cost him dearly. At best, he faces a large fine, and at worst - he will take away the license of an amateur pilot, which he very much cherishes.
