Benedict Cumberbatch told reporters that he almost died at the hands of bandits!

Famous British actor Benedict Cumberbatch in one of his recent interviews shared eerie memories that during filming in South Africa was in serious trouble. It turns out that he could easily fall victim to the assault of bandits, and survived only because he was "born in a shirt."

The actor blames himself:

"It's all my blame for it. On the set in South Africa we had one day off, and my colleague and I decided to go to the ocean to swim. Our path lay across the desert, but we did not know that these places are very dangerous. Halfway to the coast, they attacked us and took away our cars. The bandits were armed to the teeth and there was no point in resisting them. We lost all of anything of value. We were tied up, and very soon I found myself in the trunk of the car. "

Star of the film "Playing in imitation" did not want to surrender to the mercy of the enemy: he shouted, fought in the closed trunk of the car and even begged him to let go, but all was in vain. At some point, Benedict realized that perhaps his hour of death had come and then the car stopped, and the actors were simply thrown to the side of the road.

The British still does not know what it was for the trial, but the fact remains that thanks to the local residents they managed to survive. Actors walked a good distance on foot before they got access to the telephone connection and were able to get through to their film crew.

Appreciate life

Do you think that after the incident, Benedict Cumberbatch decided to slow down a bit? By no means! The next day he again went in search of adventure. Understanding that death lightly touched him with his black wing, made the actor feel all the joys of life even sharper.
