Alena Doletskaya is a bright and exceptional figure in the world of gloss. Triumphant fame brought to her the post of editor-in-chief of the Russian version of the world-famous magazine VOGUE. Biography
Doletskaya Alena Stanislavovna was born in Moscow on January 10, 1955. It so happened that her family is rather unusual: her grandfather was a director of the ROST (a prototype of today's TASS), and her parents are both distinguished physicians. However, Alena did not follow in their footsteps, although she wanted to go to school after school. Yuri Nikulin persuaded her to enter a liberal arts college, and Doletskaya followed this advice by enrolling in the Moscow Art Theater School. Parents categorically did not approve this step, after which Alena left the Moscow Art Theater and entered the Moscow State University at the Faculty of Philology, where she achieved considerable success. However, in science, she decided not to hit, having got a job in the diamond-mining company De Beers, where she was soon offered to become a public relations consultant of the company.
Life in a glossy world
In 1998, Doletskaya accepts the offer to head the Russian version of the "fashion bible" - VOGUE magazine, where she works as editor-in-chief until 2010. The style of Alena Doletskaya was largely formed not only due to innate taste, but also due to work in this magazine.
In 2011 Alena returns to the world of glossy - this time in the person of the head of the Russian and German versions of the magazine Interview, a unique project founded in 1969 by Andy Warhol himself.
