To refresh your clothes or complement the image, different accessories are used: scarves, brooches, belts, etc. Often, it is very difficult to find a suitable thing by color and shape, so they are often made by hand. In this article, let's look at two options for making a brooch with your own hands from a satin ribbon.

Master class 1: brooch made from satin ribbons "Flower"

You will need:

• a satin ribbon with a width of 2.5-3 cm;
• rhinestones;
• a piece of felt;
• fastening for brooch;
• glue gun, lighter or matches, needle and thread.

1. We scorch the slices on the tape so that it does not dissolve.
2. Fold the tape in half with the wrong side inward, and, having receded from the edge 2-3 mm, sew the tape along the entire length with the suture "needle forward" with a double thread.
3. We pull and fix the thread, we get a wavy blank from the tape.
4. From one end we twist the workpiece from the tape along a spiral, each turn of which should look out from under the previous one.
5. From the underside, carefully glue the layers of the tape with an adhesive gun.
6. From the front to the middle of our flower we attach a rhinestone.
7. From the wrong side of the flower, sew or glue a circle of felt with a fastened clasp.

Our brooch from the satin ribbon is ready.

Master class 2: Brooch "Rose"

It will take:

• pink satin ribbon width of 2.5 cm long 1.2 m and slightly gray (green);
• a narrow gray ribbon;
• a piece of felt;
• fastening for brooch;
• glue gun or glue, thread with a needle.

1. Pink tape is cut into strips 7 cm long: 12 strips for a flower and 5 strips for buds. Slices on the tapes, so that the tapes do not blossom, we sing out.
2. Put a piece of tape face on the table and bend one side of the back.
3. The resulting sharp corner bend to the front side 2 times and fix the thread.
4. Repeat the same bend on the other side and fix the same thread.
5. We pull the thread so that the bent ends remain even, and the middle is gathered together by folds, and we fix the thread.
6. In this way we make 12 petals for a flower and 5 for buds.
7. One finished petal is wrapped tightly with a tube and fixed with a thread - this will be the middle.
8. Around it, we lay and fasten the glue (thread) in turn with 11 petals so that each next one goes a little to the previous one.

Assembling brooches:

1. For the leaves, cut the gray ribbon into strips of 6 cm, fold them in half across, and cut the corner diagonally. We process the cut with fire so that they will weld together. The cut corners are also soldered and we get small leaves.
2. We make from a narrow tape 3 loops of different sizes.
3. For buds, glue or thread together 3 petals for one bud and 2 for the other, and each bud is inserted into the leaf and glued.
4. To the circle of felt we sew the fastener for the brooch.
5. We compose a composition of roses, buds and leaves, and then gently glue all the details to the basis of felt.

Brooch "Rose" from satin ribbons is ready.
