Soon the New Year, and I want to decorate the house or place at work with decorations made by myself. And what about the Christmas tree of felt? Time will leave a little, but what result. This tree is not afraid to drop, and toys on it will not break. By the way, this is ideal if there is a small child in the house.
So, we sew a New Year tree from felt with our own hands.

To sew a Christmas tree out of felt you will need:
- felt green, of course you can choose a different color, it depends on your imagination, we will do the traditional Christmas tree. I also took a felt of white color - he will go to my decorations;
- filler;
- various ornaments - these can be buttons, beads, ribbons, bows, beads, bells, etc.;
- thread ordinary or mulina;
- scissors;
- sewing machine, although you can do without it, this herringbone can be sewn by hand.
Performance:
- Print out the pattern of the Christmas tree of the right size. There are two patterns in the photo - one tree is slightly taller, the other is lower, but thicker.
- We take felt (it is desirable that the felt was soft and not very thick), add it twice, apply a pattern and circle. We need two such details.
- Cut out the details with a small allowance.
- We apply every detail to the felt cloth and sew on the machine on the contour, leaving the bottom of the site uncrosslinked. That details did not go, it is possible to put together their needles.
- Now cut out the resulting Christmas trees, put one on one and stitch in the middle on the typewriter.
- At this stage, I advise you to gently trim excess allowances along the contour of the Christmas tree. I forgot to do it right away, so I had to torment myself when the Christmas tree was already stuffed with filler. Then we fill the Christmas tree. You can take any filler that you have - I have a holofiber, but this can be ordinary cotton wool, and cereals, and coffee beans.
- We seal the filling points.
- The Christmas tree is ready, it is necessary to decorate it only. I will decorate with buttons, bows and asterisks, which I cut out of white felt.
- That's all. Nothing complicated. Felt herringbone with her own hands ready.
