Anti-terrorist security in school

Good and evil - these eternal, unshakable concepts are keeping pace in the modern world. Peace, kindness, mother, family, school, motherland - no one will doubt that all this can be called one word "good." But there is a plague on the planet called "terrorism." If a few dozen years ago, many did not know the essence and significance of this terrible phenomenon, today it is necessary not only to know about it, but also to be ready to not be a hostage to the situation. That's why teachers on a class watch are forced to acquaint children with the rules of anti-terrorist security in school.

Basic principles

It is difficult to explain to students of junior and middle classes what terrorism is. How can you tell a child that adults are able because of their political, religious, economic games to endanger the lives of many other people who often act, however cruelly, as a bargaining chip? Especially when it comes to innocent children, as it was with two hundred students of the Beslan school in 2004, who died from bullets of terrorists.

But these are the harsh realities of our life. Measures on antiterrorist security, including conversations, situational games that clearly explain to students how to behave in the event of a terrorist threat, are a necessity. Children should be able to systematize knowledge, analyze information, make decisions about how to behave in an emergency situation, being hostage, to provide themselves and others with elementary medical care.

If we summarize, during lessons on terrorism, teachers should disclose to children the following aspects:

At the end of the lesson, children should not be frightened. They must realize that they do not need to fear terror. With evil it is necessary to fight, and knowing how to act in an extreme situation, this is easier.

Vital Knowledge

The main measures of antiterrorist security are to follow the rules of conduct in a terrorist act, taking hostage actions, handling dangerous items, and behavior in a crowd of frightened people. No one, no parents, no teachers, no law enforcement bodies can help in such situations, because the danger can be waiting in the minibus and in the subway. Attentiveness, circumspection, accents on unusual trivialities (someone else's car in the yard, a packet or box left unattended, a suspicious person, etc.) is something that can save lives for more than one person. But only adults must take measures to eliminate the threat! It is forbidden to touch suspicious bales, bags and boxes!

If the situation got out of hand, and the child was in hands of terrorists, he should not contradict them, rebel, try to escape. Serenity, complaisance, patience, politeness are the main assistants. The child should know that safe places are doorways, corners, any cavities in the walls. And if the help has arrived, but the current of the frightened crowd bears him, you should stay in its center, do not put your hands up, do not bend over fallen things, avoiding fixed objects (lattices, poles, walls).

We hope that this knowledge will remain a pure theory, which will never be useful to the child in practice, but it is not for nothing that they say "informed - means, armed". The world and the clear sky above all the people of the planet!

In addition, parents need to know how to protect the child from intruders.
