For many years the skirt-tutu was clothes only for dancers, while some public persons like Madonna did not wear a skirt-pack for their concerts.
The first skirts-packs for everyday life were only 2 colors - black and white. In our own time, you can meet these extravagant skirts-packs of all unthinkable colors. They are especially popular among young girls belonging to different subcultures, like ready-made or emo. They are good for parties, holidays, photo sessions, for dancing or just dressing up. And for a baby, this skirt becomes a dream. Put on the wings of a butterfly - the image of a fairy or nymph is ready! You need to wear it with leggings, and for dancing with a leotard.
How to sew a skirt of tulle from tulle?
Actually in this master class, sewing on a typewriter will need only a rubber band and that's it.
In order to sew a skirt a pack with our own hands, we will need:
- tulip about 2-3 meters at a width of 3 meters, or 2 rolls with a width of 15 cm;
- elastic band 2 cm wide - length is OT - 4 cm;

- Cardboard for the template (if in tulle rolls);
- scissors.
For a skirt with a waist circumference of about 50-60 cm, about 60 stripes of tulle will be needed.
So, let's begin.
- When choosing a color, we take into account that in the finished form the skirt will be paler than the tulle, folded into a roll, looks like. From the cardboard, cut out a template - a rectangle with a side that is equal to the length of the skirt + allowance for the seams of 1 cm.
- Before you start making a skirt, cut the elastic band equal to the waist circumference minus 4 cm. It needs to be sewn into a circle.
- Now cut the stripes of tulle. Cutting is more convenient if tulle in rolls. To do this, take a cardboard blank and begin to wind the tulle around it. Cut from one end. After the strips have been cut, you can cut the edges of the strips with a corner, or leave them as they are. If the tulle is a footprint, you will have to cut out strips of length equal to the length of the pack + 1.5-2 cm to the allowances of the seams and the width of 15 cm.
- Now the very process of imposing tulle on an elastic band. For inspiration, I propose to include your favorite film, music, transfer. The ready-made elastic band is hung on the legs of an upturned chair.
- Begin to create a skirt. To do this, twist loose loaf of tulle into a string. Find the middle and start tying the strip around the circle of the gum. Knot - an ordinary, which we tie shoelaces. It should be noted that the tie should be fairly loose - the elastic band can be pinched, (if it is squeezed, it will stretch and not return to its shape), but also relatively tight so that the strips do not hang on the elastic band.
- Make sure that the ends are the same length. Tie up the fastening knot. Raspushite tulle.
- In this sequence, continue to impose all stripes. Nodules try to tie all the strips the same. You can try to alternate 2 colors or more, so that the skirt turns out to be more effective.
- The skirt is almost ready. It remains only to decorate it at your discretion.
