Sugar syrup should be thick. Cook in the syrup pieces of melon for 5-8 minutes. Pieces should acquire glass-like transparency. If this does not happen, we cool and cook again. You can repeat the cycle, just keep in mind, the longer we cook a melon, the more we lose vitamins and other useful substances - under the influence of high temperatures they are destroyed.

Cooked pieces of melon are thrown in a colander or strainer, and then spread freely on a clean baking tray.

Now we need to dry the pieces of melon in a few tricks at the minimum temperature in the oven. It is better to organize process so that the oven door is slightly ajar.

Next, almost ready candied fruits can be laid out on a clean paper, you can lightly sprinkle sugar or powdered sugar and dry at room temperature for 3-8 days (depending on humidity and temperature).
