Postcard envelope with your own hands

Nowadays, money is one of the most common gifts , which means that an envelope for money is the most popular package. And here after all what strangeness - at all variety so it is difficult to choose the envelope completely corresponding to our wishes. I want to show that the culprit of the celebration is dear to us and we tried to make a personal gift, such as money, very personal. That's why you can make an envelope for money with your own hands, putting your soul into it. I offer you a master class in which I will show how to make a card envelope for money with my own hands in the technique of scrapbooking.

We make an envelope with our own hands

Necessary tools and materials:

I decided to make a postcard envelope for the photographer's girl, so the decorative details correspond to her hobby, but you can start from the hobby of the one for whom you will create.

Progress:

  1. We cut the cardboard, scrap paper and watercolor paper on the part of the required size.
  2. We will make a creasing (we will sell places of folds) and we will cut off superfluous on preparation.
  3. Then we will bend and paste the cardboard, thus creating an envelope, after pasting the paper.
  4. Just make a decoration for your pocket and paste it, pre-stitching the inside.
  5. And the next step is to sew all the details inside the postcard.
  6. It remains to draw up a card for congratulations - for this we abundantly moisten watercolor paper and cover with divorce (to create a divorce, I used two colors, close in tone). After drying, sew the last element.

Now we are going to create a cover:

  1. Stitch two rectangles for the face of the postcard.
  2. Then we paste all the decorative details on the substrate and cut out.
  3. Before you sew, make up the composition.
  4. And step by step, sew all the details - from the bottom to the top. Not all parts need to be stitched completely, creating a volume effect.
  5. The last step is to glue the tape to the base, and from the top we fix the finished parts of the postcard.

Here's a postcard we got - it not only conveys your emotions, but also shows how important the recipient is to you.
