More and more synthetic fabrics are now used to make clothes. Sometimes it is very problematic to distinguish them among themselves, so it is difficult to choose the material for sewing. In this article, let's try to figure out what kind of fabric is "diving": how it looks, how dense it is, whether it stretches, and what can be made of it.
Description of fabric "diving"
"Diving" is considered a high-class fabric. Despite the synthetic ingredients, it is very pleasant to the touch, soft. And, as it is not strange sounded, this material is one of the kinds of jersey.
The fabric of "diving" includes the following synthetic fibers:
- viscose - 65%. Due to this, this fabric is able to pass air, and, changing its content, you can give the canvas a different appearance;
- elastane (spandex, neolan or sulphate) - 5%. This component ensures that the material is well stretched and quickly restores the original shape, and also protects against the effects of chlorinated and sea salt water;
- polyester - 30%. Used to increase density and wear resistance.
Sometimes when making a "diving" to artificial components, add natural - cotton, but not more than 10%. But this is rarely done, as the value of the material increases, and the quality remains practically unchanged.
Depending on the thickness of the tissue, two types are distinguished: "microdiving" and "dense diving". The first is lighter and thin, and the second is thick and heavy. In any case, any kind of tissue is also called a "second" skin, for the ability to easily shrink, that is, to sit firmly on the figure of a person, and also because it feels like real leather.
To advantages of a fabric "diving" carry that she:
- during washing does not shed and then dries quickly;
- even after prolonged wearing, remains without pellets ;
- does not lose its elasticity, that is, it does not stretch over time and does not lose shape;
- hard to break;
- practically does not get dirty, even fat and sweat on the "diving" does not last long.
But there are some drawbacks . They include:
- since in its composition a large proportion of viscose, the fabric can be crushed. This is easy to fix, because after it is put on, it will tightly tighten the body and folds will not be visible. This does not help only in places where there is no stretching, there will have to be ironed;
- "Diving" shrinks in cases when the product is washed in hot water. Therefore it is recommended to do this only in warm water;
- after a long direct exposure to the material of sunlight, it forms spots of yellow or brown;
- a small variety of existing colors. The most common are black, beige and raspberry.
What can be done from "diving"?
Based on the description of this material, the fabric of "diving" does not constrain the movement of a person,
But the popularity of cloth "diving" has long gone beyond the limits of the sports hall, because people want to feel free not only there. That is why now you can find dresses, skirts, leggings and jackets made of the material "microdiving". Due to the fact that "diving" tightly surrounds the figure, such clothes emphasize all the dignity of a woman and makes her very seductive. From "dense diving" make products that correct the figure (pulling) , which have now become very popular, such as shorts or body.
