So, to make decorative cushions from jeans is simple enough: it's enough to have a pair of unnecessary jeans trousers, a sewing machine and a little patience.

Master-class for tailoring jeans cushion in patchwork style

  1. We take a few pairs of jeans of contrasting shades and cut from them long narrow strips of fabric. The length of such a strip depends on the size of the future pillow: for example, for this pillow we used strips 4 cm wide and 67 cm long.
  2. Now we sew these strips together, shifting each subsequent one by several centimeters forward.
  3. For this size, the ideal displacement is 3 cm.
  4. Now we need to draw diagonal lines at an angle of 45 °. To do this, you can use a long ruler or make a large rectangular triangle of thick cardboard.
  5. Line up the fabric by drawing parallel lines with a distance of 4 cm between them.
  6. Make two such fragments of striped tissue, paying attention to the sequence of strips was mirrored, and gently cut along the lines.
  7. And now sew these strips together, forming a pattern of "Christmas tree". You can sew one large canvas and bend into a rectangular long sofa cushion, and you can make two squares and sew them around the perimeter.
