What do we associate New Year's holidays with? Well, of course, with the tree and gifts! A great idea for a New Year's gift is a hand-made Christmas tree made of chocolates. In our master class we will tell you how to make a lump of sweets with your own hands. For cones we need:

Let's start creating a candy cone

  1. The base of the cone will be a piece cut from the foam plastic in the form of an egg. The size of the cone depends on the size and number of chocolates, but on average the cone will be quite large - 20-25 cm. We wrap the foam egg with brown corrugated paper.
  2. Scales will be made of corrugated paper. In order for the scales to look as natural as possible, we take for them a paper of two shades. Paper is better to use dense, which will keep the shape well. But if there is no thick paper near at hand, then you can use any.
  3. For each flake, we cut out one blank of each color measuring 20 * 50 mm. We will connect the multi-colored details of the scales with glue, give it the shape of a petal or scales, curl it and stick it to the toothpick.
  4. Attach a small candy to the toothpick with an adhesive tape or wire.
  5. We begin to attach the scales to the bump. Work starts from the top of the cone to the base. On the vertex we fasten scales without sweets, so that the "rose" turns out.
  6. Then we begin to fasten the rows of scales with sweets. Do this in checkerboard order. For each row we use six flakes.
  7. The base of our cones is made by fixing the scales with glue. No toothpicks, no sweets for the base will not be needed.
  8. Priporoshim scales with a layer of snow, made from foam plastic chips.
