No occupation is more interesting than making paper from flowers, because at the same time a small miracle is born right at your fingertips. In today's master class we will teach how to make sunflower - a symbol of sunlight and a family - from corrugated paper.
For a sunflower we need:
- corrugated paper;
- wire;
- scissors;
- glue;
- a small branch.
Getting Started
- For the core of a sunflower, we take strips about 6-7 cm wide from corrugated paper of light and dark brown color.
- We cut one edge of the strips with fringe.
- Put the strips together.
- We roll the strips into a tight roller and fix its base with a wire.
- We get this core.
- For petals of a sunflower we take a paper of bright yellow color. Cut it into rectangles measuring 6 * 4 cm and form petals out of them, rounding the edges and slightly slitting the slices.
- Of green paper, we will cut out sepals.
- We also form leaves from green paper.
- We cut the wire into segments of 6-8 cm for the cuttings of the leaves. We will wrap the cuttings with strips of green paper.
- Adhere the cuttings to the leaves.
- As a result, we get such leaves and sepals.
- We begin assembling our sunflower. To the core we glue the petals, leaving small spaces between them.
- We paste the second row of petals in such a way that they cover the gaps between the petals of the first row.
- We paste the third row of petals.
- We adhere to the petals of the third row of sepals also in several rows.
- We get here a flower of a sunflower.
- Next, cut out of a green paper strip of 15 cm wide and thicken its edge, rolling it.
- We fix our flower on the stem-branch.
- The place of attachment of the flower is hidden by means of a strip of green paper - a flower bed.
- We decorate the stem of the sunflower with green paper, while attaching the leaves to it.
Tulips from corrugated paper are also very beautiful.
