Braceletting is now being carried on without exaggeration by everyone - junior students and future graduates compete in the ability to create from multi-colored pieces of silicone intricate jewelry and figures . Let us also master this fascinating art and first we will understand how to make bracelets from rubber bands under the name "Circular knots".
Weaving bracelets of rubber bands in circular knots
Weave bracelets from rubber bands in circular knots can be both on the slingshot, and simply on the fingers. We will consider the option how to do this with a special machine and a hook:
- We will prepare all necessary for work, namely: the machine tool and multi-colored silicone elastic bands. It should be noted that one color (in our case yellow) will be basic, and the alternation of the others will create a pattern. The more colors will alternate in the pattern, the more vivid it will turn out. In our case, we have prepared for the weaving of elastic bands of orange and green colors.
- We begin work with two elastics of the base yellow color. The first of them is twisted by eight and put on two pegs of the machine. The second we put on these same pegs, but no longer twisting.
- We hook up one of the sides of the lower elastic band and throw it into the center of the weaving. The same operation is done on the second peg.
- The resulting combination of rubber bands gently move down and begin to weave the colored gum. The first in our pattern will be an elastic band of orange.
- We put on the orange gum on one of the pegs and pull it aside by twisting the eight. Then we put the second side of the rubber band on the same peg.
- Gently push the hook through the orange gum and pick up the base color gum.
- We throw the rubber band on the next peg and move the whole weaving down.
- We put on the pegs a rubber base color, without twisting it. From top to it we throw both turns of orange gum.
- Thus, in the weaving we only have the gum base color: one on the right peg and three on the left. We pick up the lowest of the three bands and throw it into the center of the weaving.
- We put into operation an elastic band of the next color, this time green. As in the previous case, we put both ends on the right peg, having twisted the figure eight beforehand.
- Gently push the hook through the green rubber band and pick up the elastic band of the base color.
- We throw the rubber band on the next peg and move the whole weaving down. We hook the lowest elastic band on the left peg.
- We throw it into the center of the weaving and again we move the whole wickerwork down.
- We put on the pegs a rubber base color, without twisting it, and then we hook up both turns of the green rubber band on the right peg.
- We throw the green elastic band in the center of the weaving and there we also throw the lowest of the three basic bands on the left peg.
- Thus, after several repetitions of the previous operations, our weaving will look like this:
- When the weaving reaches the desired length, equal to the circumference of the wrist, we move on to the final chords. In this case, only the base color should remain in the work - one on the right peg and three on the left.
- We pick up the lower elastic band from the left peg and toss it into the center of the weaving. Then we also throw the second rubber band from the same peg.
- We toss the two remaining gums in one of the pegs, gently stretch them and put them on both pegs at once.
- In the rubber bands stretched in this way, we carefully attach the clasp.
- Similarly, stretch the gum and at the beginning of the weave and insert the second end of the fastener in them.
