One of the good options for vacation abroad is a trip to Bulgaria . This state today provides ample opportunities for beach, sports or recreational recreation.
But bear in mind that for such a trip both Russians and Ukrainians will need to issue a visa. Let's find out which documents will be required for opening a Bulgarian visa, and where you can go on it.
How to get a Bulgarian visa?
It is quite easy to do this. You need to apply to one of the visa centers located in major cities, or to the visa department of the Bulgarian embassy (in the capital).
The package of documents necessary for the Bulgarian visa includes such papers:
- the original of the passport is valid for not less than 9 months from the beginning of the trip;
- a copy of the first page of the passport;
- color photo format 3.5x4.5 (for a tourist of all ages, including children);
- insurance policy with a coverage of 30 thousand euros or more;
- copies of air tickets or car documents;
- correctly filled visa application form;
- for the tour - confirmation of the reservation in the Bulgarian hotel, a certificate from your place of work and an extract from your personal bank account;
- for a private visit to Bulgaria - confirmation of kinship with close relatives - citizens of this country or an invitation from a local resident.
Individual categories of citizens will need to submit additional documents. So, children who do not yet have a passport need to submit their birth certificate, the students of the hospital - a student card, and pensioners - a photocopy of the corresponding certificate. Consular fee - the amount of duty to be paid upon registration - is typical for European visas of 35 euros. It releases minors and pensioners.
It is recommended to submit documents not less than 14 days before the start of the tour. It is possible to obtain a visa on an urgent basis, however, the consular fee will double.
Many are interested: the Bulgarian visa is a Schengen or not? No, officially, Bulgaria does not belong to the Schengen zone. This means that with a Bulgarian visa in your passport you can not easily cross the borders of European countries entering the Schengen area. But having a Schengen visa, it is not difficult to enter the territory of the republic itself. Interestingly, the time of your holiday in Bulgaria will not be counted as days spent in the Schengen area.
