We looked at how Phuket differs from Pattaya in general. Do not rush to make a choice: there are a few more points. One of them is the price. Always, even with vouchers on the principle of "all inclusive", there are additional costs: I want to try the local cuisine, buy souvenirs, visit various places. It can take quite a bit of money for this. At the same time, for many items in Phuket, the price may be higher even by a quarter, two factors influence this. First, the population density is small, the market is less developed than in Pottaya, the competition is small. Secondly, the cost increases due to the cost of shipping goods to the island. At the same time, the choice in Phuket is somewhat less. So if you like spending time on rest for various pleasant trivia, and decide whether Pattaya or Phuket, which is better, then choose Pattaya.

Choosing a resort for a family vacation - the question is always more complicated. Many tour operators advise nevertheless to go with the child to Phuket - here it is calmer and cleaner. Of course, we can not say that Phuket is a clean beach and tropical forest, and Pattaya is a heap of city entertainment. Both of these resorts offer their guests everything we expect from a holiday in a warm country, but each place has its own atmosphere and characteristics.
