How to make a simple sandbox with a canopy in the yard?

In this manual we used plates 27 mm thick of glued spruce and boards 18 mm thick. The design consists of two parts - directly sandbox and canopy. Sandbox is a frame of plates, connected by tetrahedral connectors, and the canopy on two supports is made of two interconnected pediments.

Progress:

1. To begin with, all the parts needed for the frame assembly of the sandbox are laid out the way they are assembled, while the short sides must be located between the long ones. Using screws 4 to 60 mm by means of a screwdriver we connect the sidewalls, using the bars for vertical connection.
2. We put the ready frame on the supports. We fix the first board for sitting on the sidewall and fix it with clamps. We screw it with screws using a screwdriver through the previously made holes with a diameter of 5 mm. Similarly we do the three other boards. To stabilize the board, we lower it with the help of connecting pads.
3. Draw the contours of the pediments on special plates. Cut out the jig saws. We install sidewalls and cross-members as they should be assembled. To create the roof fastenings on the sidewalls of the pediments, we drill holes with a diameter of 8 mm, through which the sidewalls and cross-pieces will be connected.
4. The roof supports are screwed in the middle of the bottom of the two sides of the sandbox.
5. Along the sides of the pediments on the roof, pull the canopy and fix it with a stapler.
6. Grind the wooden surfaces and cover them with icing.
7. Children's sandbox with their own hands is ready.
