The disadvantages of cork laminate can be attributed to the fact that it is afraid of high humidity. "Intolerance" arises from the fact that the base in the cork board of a floating type is a plate of fiberboard or MDF, which, upon contact with water, begins to swell. Cleaning of such a floor is best done with a strongly squeezed rag and do not forget about special compounds for cork coatings. If you want to avoid defects, it is better to get a cork for the floor moisture resistant. It is lacquered, which protects the gentle veneer from direct contact with the liquid. In addition, often the cork is slightly rough, which is due to its natural origin. Because of the constant friction, socks and tights begin to wear out faster, so you have to walk in slippers.
