Feeding strawberries in spring

In the autumn period, only adult, one-year-old strawberry bushes can be fed. To do this, you should choose a dry day in mid-September. As an autumn feeding, a solution of Mullein in a ratio of 1:10. You can cover up the soil around the strawberry bushes with humus. In parallel with the fertilizer in the autumn, strawberry bushes need to be treated with 2% Bordeaux liquid to kill insects and parasites.
The following folk remedy gives good results. The hermetically sealed container is half filled with tops, weeds, nitrogen fertilizer is added and filled up with water to the top. The mixture is left for fermentation for 10 days.
An excellent fertilizer, enhancing the growth of strawberries and well influencing the yield, is such a tool: pour the nettle into warm water and then insist for several days. This wonderful biofertilizer should be sprayed with strawberries in spring and autumn.
There is another kind of fertilizing strawberries: with the help of baker's yeast. Twice a season you can dilute a pack of ordinary raw yeast in 5 liters of water. Then 0.5 liters of this mixture is diluted in 10 liters of water and brought under one bush to 0.5 liters.
