Hairstyle French waterfall

Various weaving is an old and proven method of hair styling, which is always popular. But the classic scythe is a good option for everyday hairstyles, which does not require any delicacies, and when you want something more fresh and original, hairstyles on the basis of openwork weaving such as the French waterfall come to the rescue.

How to make a French waterfall haircut?

As mentioned above, the weaving technique of the French waterfall is based on the classical French spit, but during the weaving process some of the strands are pulled out. Here's how it looks in practice:

  1. First, take a lock on the side, about the temple, divided into three parts and begin to weave a back braid. That is, braid hair according to the scheme, when the upper strand leaves under the middle, and then - the lower under the middle. If there is a bang, it is also desirable to include it in the weaving. Although many people prefer not to bang the bangs and then simply beautifully style, getting a variant of the French waterfall haircut with a bang.
  2. After making three or four twisting movements, add a thin curl to the top of the strand and overlap it with the bottom strand. Strand with an additional lock is released from the braid downwards, leaving freely to fall, and fix. This will be one of the streams of our waterfall. To replace the released strands take a new, bottom.
  3. After the upper (double) strand is again lower, it is released again, replacing the new one.
  4. The braid can be laid around the entire head, and up to the middle. In the end, as a rule, they again braid the usual braid and fasten it with a barrette, leaving one of the strands free.
  5. To create a lacy effect in the process of weaving, some of the strands are not weaved into the braid tightly, but slightly stretch outward.
  6. Since the braid is a sufficiently robust braid, so that the French waterfall's hairdress retains its appearance, the main thing is how to fix the end of the weave and the strands that have been released. To fix individual strands, use "invisible". The end of the braid can be fixed with a thin elastic band, disguising it with an additional strand, or using a beautiful hair clip. The latter option looks especially advantageous if the weaving goes from two sides and ends at the back of the head.

Hairstyle French waterfall can be done and on straight hair, but especially it looks good with curls, so it is recommended to pre-wind hair to large hair curlers.

Double spit French waterfall

Such a hairstyle is more difficult than the usual French waterfall, but the scheme of weaving is no different:

  1. At the first stage, the hair is braided according to the above scheme, around the head. The braid starts just above the right ear and ends behind the left ear. After the braid has reached the desired point on the left, it is slightly woven down, according to the usual pattern, and fixed with an elastic band.
  2. The second braid is weaved a few centimeters below the first, according to the same scheme, but strips from the first braid are used for picking up from above.
  3. The end of the second pigtail is also braided with the usual weaving, weaving the end of the first braid into it.
  4. Then the hair can be left to fall freely, several times to intercept along the entire length of thin elastic bands and, dividing in the middle of the section, turn out the hair through it so that the gums are not visible. Fix with studs.

Since the main highlight of this hairstyle is freely flowing curls, especially effectively French waterfall looks on long hair, but for short hair it will not work.
