Healthy lifestyle of school children

The healthy way of life of a schoolboy is something that will help an adult child not only at the current stage, but also in the future. After all, time goes on, and habits persist, and if at 10 years old the child is used to having fast food and constantly drinking soda, most likely, he will live at 20 and 30, thus risking obesity and a whole bunch of diseases.

Forming a healthy lifestyle in school children

Hardly anyone will argue with the fact that the formation of a healthy lifestyle for schoolchildren is the task of their parents. From an early age, children learn from them everything: not to walk or talk, but to the way of life in general. School, circles and sections can only be helpers in upbringing.

The more healthy the family leads, the healthier the children who grow up in it. It is impossible to persuade a child to eat porridge for breakfast if he sees how his father or mother in the morning eat sandwiches or sweets. Therefore, if a child develops unhealthy habits, look for reasons in the organization of your family.

Education for a healthy lifestyle should include the following:

  1. Proper nutrition. What is common in your family - lean meat with a vegetable side dish or dumplings and semi-finished products? If the second, then do not expect the child to strive for a healthy diet.
  2. Exercise. If parents do an elementary exercise in the morning or attend a fitness center, as well as carry the child to various sports activities and offer to attend sports for children - this will not be a problem.
  3. Hardening. The child probably will be easier to treat the body with cold water or a contrasting soul if he does not go through this procedure alone, but with family members.
  4. Compliance with the regime of the day. Adolescents generally tend to lead a nocturnal lifestyle, until late at night communicating with friends on the Internet. However, if you give the child the necessary load (sections, circles, extracurricular activities in accordance with the interests of the child), then energy will have time to spend a day, and most likely the regime will be respected. In addition, it is important that the parents do not finish the day at one or two nights.
  5. Compliance with hygiene standards. From early childhood, you need to teach your child to brush his teeth, daily taking a shower, washing his hands before eating and other hygiene procedures. The more you explain why a child does this, the more likely that such habits will become a part of his life.
  6. Lack of bad habits. If one of the parents smokes, or the family gets drunk on weekends - there is a high probability that from the teenage age the child will begin to copy similar habits of relatives. Think about it.

The healthy lifestyle of a schoolboy is, above all, a healthy lifestyle for the whole family.
