You will be surprised, but it's a hedgehog! And, it seems, the only absolutely bald hedgehog, to make a massage which thousands of fans already dream of!
This tiny and shy guy was found in the forest. Obviously, without a single needle, as the most important defense in the wild, he would not last long. But Nelson, and that's what he was called, was lucky - the wildlife rescue service "Foxy Lodge Wildlife Rescue" in Norfolk, Great Britain, found the baby in time.
To date, the bald hedgehog is one of the most beloved residents of the center and he does not mind staying in an unusual place for his kind, apparently feeling that without the guardianship of a man he would have long been an easy prey for a predator.
You will be surprised, but Nelson does not just serve a day in the "Foxy Lodge Wildlife Rescue", and enjoys every minute he has lived to the fullest, because besides a healthy diet, he is constantly being massaged with almond oil!
"We can not know the exact reason why Nelson lost all his needles," says the manager of the center, Tonya Garner. "Most likely, Nelson suffered some kind of trauma, and the bald man was already suffering a lot of stress."
The staff believes that in the near future Nelson's needles will begin to grow anew and do not miss a single massage session, stimulating their growth. And even if this is a completely hopeless undertaking, all the workers gave the floor that they will continue to pamper their pet with gentle touches of fragrant oil, after all, after such care, he becomes warmer, and his wrinkled skin becomes tender and soft.
And despite the sad side of this situation, in the absence of needles there is also one positive moment - Nelson is the only one of its kind a hedgehog that can be hugged and kissed without fear of pricking!
