So that she does not lie around in the closet without any work, let's try to give her a new life. In decorating the T-shirts with their own hands, all the tools at hand are good - a ruffle with lace, torn motifs, funny appliqués or even stencil drawings on a T-shirt.

We chose a less radical way of decorating a T-shirt with our own hands - appliqués from multi-colored cloth flaps, which does not require a serious alteration of the thing. If you do not like the result, you will return your item to the original look painlessly.

What do you need to decorate the T-shirts with your own hands?

For the chosen method to decorate a T-shirt with our own hands, we need this:

• directly the shirt itself, preferably monophonic (color does not matter);
• multicolored patches of fabric for applique, if possible, we select colors, combined with the tone of the shirt;
• good sewing scissors;
• sewing machine with the possibility of a zigzag stitch;
• a needle and a thread.

1. First of all, take our scraps of cloth and cut out of them a lot of circles of different sizes. It's okay if instead of the right circle you get a slightly modified oval, the main thing is to use good scissors so that the edges are smooth and accurate, without some fringe.
2. Then we take each of the circles and sew on the sewing machine in a circle with a seam-zigzag in a millimeter or two from the edge.
3. Next, add each circle in half and make several stitches with a machine, lightly attaching the fabric. However, it can be done manually, as well as to whom it is more convenient.
4. Unfold, fold again in half to the other side and do the same.
5. As a result, we get such an interesting abstraction of the flower.
6. We lay out our flowers on a vest.

We decorate the T-shirt with a rosette application

1. We take a colorful bright fabric, cut out of it a wide strip about 5 cm in width and 30 in length.
2. Fold the cut strip in half with the wrong side outward, we spread it on the machine with an ordinary seam near the edge.
3. Then with the help of a pin we turn our strip on the front side. We look at the pictures, how to do it right.
4. Gently bend the edge of the strip and immediately tie it to the shirt, after noting a suitable place.
5. We continue to sew a strip of fabric around in a circle to the T-shirt, along the way, carefully and evenly attaching it, forming a rose.
6. Particular attention is paid to the edge of the sewn stripes - tries to sew it as neatly as possible so that it is not noticeable. In an extreme case, if it was not possible to hide an inconspicuous margin, you can sew a large bead into the center and hide the flaws in the decoration.
