Many of us still remember those times when the number of TV programs was limited to three, and switching between them was done with a pen on the TV. And the TVs were not exactly the same today - huge, pot-bellied, or even black and white.
Today, the amount of information received from the TV screen is limited only by the class of the TV receiver itself. Happy owners of the latest TV models are able to use the Smart TV service, or in other words, watching TV programs from the Internet. But it is not enough to buy such a TV, you still need to be able to properly configure it. On how to properly tune TV Smart TV and will be discussed in our article.
How to set up a Smart TV connection to the Internet?
The most important condition, without which the work of Smart TV is simply impossible - the presence of a stable connection to the Internet. At the same time, the data transfer rate must be at least 20 Mb / s. You can connect to the Internet in several ways: by connecting the computer to the router using a cable, using the wi-fi service, and also using WPS, Plug & Access and One Foot Connection technologies. The choice of the method of connection is made in the menu section "Network settings". The most qualitatively Smart TV will work when using a wired connection method. For him, you just need to insert the Internet cable into the special connector on the back of the TV, and then register the settings of your router in the "network setup" menu. After the TV successfully connects to the network, you can proceed to the next stage - setting up the channels.

So, the TV and the Internet were safely connected. But this is not enough to start watching TV programs. You still need to install a special application on the TV, for example, nStreamLmod or 4TV. These programs are in fact their players, capable of reading play-lists of various formats. After the selected application is installed on the TV, you can start tuning channels. For Samsung TVs, this process looks like this:
- enter the Smart Hub;
- press the button A on the remote control;
- create a working record by entering the "develop" login and password "123456";
- go to the "settings" menu;
- specify the IP address of the server from which the TV will receive TV programs;
- synchronize all applications and press the "enter" button;
- run the nStreamPlayer application on your TV;
- enter the address "http://powernet.com.ru/stream.xml" in the field "Playlist URL 1".
