You can whiten tulle at home.

Before bleaching white tulle, it must be washed from accumulated dust and dirt.

This can be done with a washing machine or manually in the pelvis. In the case of machine washing, remember to follow the simple rules:

  1. Do not wash the tulle at a temperature of more than 30 degrees, otherwise the yellowness will adhere to the material forever.
  2. Before you put the curtain in the washing machine, it should be folded neatly. Otherwise, stroking the tulle will be much more difficult.

First method of bleaching

If the curtain is bleached for the first time, you can use a special bleach powder, for example, Vanish oxy, Boss, etc. Dilute the bleach according to the instructions and soak the curtain in it for half an hour, then rinse thoroughly. The second method of bleaching

In the enameled bucket with hot water, add 1 tablespoon of ammonia and 2 tablespoons of 3% hydrogen peroxide. Soak in the resulting solution tulle, carefully mixing with forceps or a wooden stick. Do not boil it. After 20-30 minutes rinse the tulle well.

Third method of bleaching

Conventional table salt also can help, do not take only a small "Extra". There are two options, how to whiten the grayed tulle with salt:

  1. The washed curtain is soaked in warm salt water (1-2 tablespoons of salt will be needed). After 20 minutes, it should be slightly squeezed and hung without window rinsing on the window. The tulle is whitened and slightly branched. Such a "salty" curtain sprinkled in the rays of light.
  2. Tulle is soaked for three hours or more in hot water, which is added 2-3 tablespoons of salt and detergent. It is better to leave it for the night, and in the morning to wash and rinse.

The fourth way of bleaching

The yellowed curtain can be whitened with a "grandmother's method", with the help of blue. After washing, the tulle is placed in warm water with the addition of blue (1 cap). To avoid the appearance of blue spots, the solution should be thoroughly mixed, chat in it tulle a couple of minutes and rinse in warm, clean water.

Sink can also be used for machine washing. After the end of the washing process, when the rinse water is being collected, 1 cap of blue is poured into the air conditioner compartment.

The fifth method of bleaching

Strangely enough, tulle can be whitened with the help of ordinary greens. The washed curtain follows to put on pair hours in hot water with the addition of a washing powder and 3 tablespoons of a large salt. After that, it is rinsed for several minutes in a saline solution with the addition of 3-4 drops of zelenka. Yellowed curtains will look great. The salt will give them elasticity, and the green will return the whiteness.
